Charles Owen Walters, Jr., of Mission, TX passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born May 1, 1926 to Charles O. Walters, Sr. and Edna Mae (Donavon) Walters in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He was a proud veteran having served in the United States Navy during WWII.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Trickle) Walters; son, Ossie Walters of Alaska; son, James Walters of Alaska; step-daughter, Diana Richardson of New Braunfels and step-son, Clayton Trickle of Colorado; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Donna Osborn and daughter Sandra Russell.
Memorial Services will be held at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Pharr, Texas at a later date. Also services will be scheduled in Scottsbluff, Nebraska at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Episcopal Church, 210 W. Caffery at Bluebonnet, P.O. Box 692,Pharr, Texas 78577.
