Chester Kenneth Bueche

Chester was born in New Braunfels to Alwin and Lydia Bueche on July 9, 1930. He attended school in New Braunfels. He met Rose Marie Scheel at church and they later married on August 11 , 1950.

At age 14, he started working for his father at Bueche Service Station. He continued the family business when his father passed in 1972, where he worked for most of his life. He was a veteran and served in the Army. Chester was very active in the First Baptist Church, where he was a Deacon.

Chester was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Bueche; his parents Alwin and Lydia Bueche; one brother and two sisters.

Survivors include his only child Christi Haberer, her husband John Haberer, grandchildren Joshua Morrow and Zachary Morrow.

Visitation will be June 24, 2026, at 9:00am, at Zoeller Funeral Home in New Braunfels. Service to follow directly afterwards at the funeral home. Service will be officiated by Billy Barnes of First Baptist Church. A private burial will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Zoeller Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, donations should be made to a charity of your choice.
