Clark Hilton “Knobby” Cutler, 88, of Hallettsville, TX, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 in McQueeney, Texas. He was born to Byron H. Cutler and Hazel Hilton Cutler in Oakpark, Illinois on September 5, 1930.
Knobby was an Air Force veteran stationed in England. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in electrical engineering. Most of his career was spent in power plant construction and later in chemical plant construction moving his family all over the country. Over the years he enjoyed sailing, flying his Piper Cub and playing bluegrass music. In retirement he enjoyed RV traveling to national parks and bluegrass festivals. He lived with his daughters in his last years till his death in February 2019.
He is survived by daughters, Kathryn Fernandez and husband Andrew of Sugarland, TX; Roxana Bacon and husband Robert of McQueeney, TX; and Hazel Calhoun and husband Wayne of Victoria, TX; son, Mark Cutler and wife Regan of Victoria, TX; grandchildren, Kirby Calhoun, Josh Cutler, Kristin Rivas, Zachary Cutler, and Travis Calhoun; 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Delora Cutler and second wife Eula; daughter, Christine Cutler, brothers, Byron Cutler and Neal Cutler.
In lieu of services the family will be having a home gathering. Anyone wishing to give a memorial contribution may donate to their favorite charity in the name of Clark H. Cutler. Knobby will be interred in Victoria, TX.
