Cynthia Amber Mosty Scheffel was born on December 30, 1956 in Kerrville, TX to Joe Mosty and Frances Aleta Taylor. She passed away on December 5, 2018 in San Antonio, TX after struggling with breast cancer. Cynthia graduated from Tivy High School in Kerrville, Tx. She was a very accomplished banker for many years and went on to receive her Director Credentials to direct preschool and daycare facilities.
She had a love for many things. Her favorite place to visit was Port Aransas, Tx; she loved the smell of the ocean. She loved music and television shows. Her family raised horses and goats on a ranch and She loved participating on many of the board of directors positions for stock shows and rodeos.
Cynthia was a great mother and grandmother and we will miss the special surprises she always had for us. She is proceeded in death by daughter, Amber Lyn Smith; father, Joe Mosty; and brother, Robby Loving. She is survived by her mother, Frances Loving; daughter, Allison Michelle Scheffel; brothers, Jeff Mosty, Bubba Mosty, Randy Mosty; and grandchildren, Racia Scheffel, Logan Smith Miles, Trey Scheffel, Robert Scheffel and Justin Eavenson Smith.
A Memorial Service will be held on December 22, 2018 at 2:00pm with reception to follow at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, TX 78130.
