On Monday June 3, 2019 Dakota Rex Johnson, Loving son, brother, and grandson earned his angel wings at the age of 24. Dakota was born on December 5, 1994 in Warren, Michigan and blessed his arrival to the parents of Michael A Hardin and Nicole M Hardin. Dakota was born with many adversities such as a chromosomal disorder, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy which made Dakota spend much of his life in and out of hospitals but because of his remarkable spirt and drive he overcame many challenges. Not only did Dakota beat many odds but because of his unique personality he touched many hearts and lives that crossed paths with him. Dakota enjoyed spending time with his family laughing and clapping, activities such as bowling, biking, playing baseball, music and jingling his keys. Dakota was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael E Hardin and grandmother, Nanette J Hardin. Dakota is survived by his father, Michael A Hardin, mother, Nicole M Hardin; sisters, Nanette and Jamee Hardin; brothers, Seth and Ty Hardin; grandfather, William R Johnson, grandmother Sherry E Johnson; nieces, Sophia Hardin and Penelope Hardin, and several aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends and neighbors. Public Visitation will begin 1:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home and continue until service time. A funeral service will be held 6:00 PM Thursday June 13, 2019 at Zoeller Funeral Home.
