I laughed so hard yesterday thinking about the little tune we wrote sitting in my car, just outside Cheyenne all those years ago... We were some funny guys... Today makes 18 years since I buried my sweet friend Johnna, 15. Bittersweet because it has hardly gotten any better but also because you and her are still with us in spirit & memory... I've known Dave since Elk City, 2006, when he and I both 'got our feet wet' with CLS. It seems like I JUST saw and spent a week catching-up with him in San Antonio this past July! Lord, comfort his sweet family at this time! So sorry I just heard this through mere chance & 'small-world' type coincidence! Oh bud, I thought you were mad at me & just didn't want to talk to me! The reality is so much harder to bare! So sorry Dave. Love you brother. Cheyenne, OK & M's Motel will always be our 'spot' brother! Thank you for all you tried to teach me!

I graduated from Fairport with Dave and have many fond memories with him growing up. Although we lost touch during the mid 2000s, I had the privilege of getting to know him again over the past few years which I am very thankful for. Dave was a very kind & giving soul that could always get me to laugh. He will be missed greatly. Love you Dave!

I remember attending church as a youngster with Dave.  My older brother and I used to hang out with his younger brother and him.  I have many pleasant memories of Dave.  He will be missed and I hope his family finds comfort in knowing how he positively touched others' lives.

Words won't be able to express the loss of Dave. He brought us all so many laughs and moments of joy. He was an outstanding professional in his industry and also a great friend. He is already greatly missed. Until we meet again my friend.

Dave was a wonderful person with a personality and sense of humor that could light up a room. He will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the Lane family during this difficult time.

I worked with Dave multiple times on many different projects and he was one of the best I've ever seen at what he did. You could give him a call any time, no matter if it was work related or any other occasion. He always had a happy-go-lucky attitude and his laugh was contagious for everyone around. I had the pleasure of working with and getting to know Dave over the past few years. He was a great guy with an upbeat personality who will be sorely missed.

I had the honor of being trained by Dave three years ago. I didn't know it at the time but it has been one of those blessings that just kept on giving. One of my best memories of him was when we were driving in his car, on a two lane highway, in middle of nowhere WV. When suddenly he stopped, right there in the middle of the road. My first thought being the car broke down, or he saw something I didn't. Yet he didn't move. When suddenly he starts saying "What are you doing out here little fella? Are you lost? You're all by yourself. Where's your home little buddy?"  I thought "I'm in a car with a crazy person and no one knows where I am!" Then he just started driving, looked over at me and said "I like dogs." That's when I knew we'd be friends for a long time. Since then he has been there through some rough situations and always willing to talk me out of whatever irrational thought I was having. He will be greatly missed. My heart and prayers are with all of you right now as we remember a truly fantastic person.

Beth, my heart will be with you tomorrow. I pray that God has wrapped his arms around you and your wonderful family and has filled you with his love and grace. Many hugs, love and prayers.

I still remember watching the homecoming parade and cheering for dave on the football float, even though that was years ago! I worked with Dave in WV on a project that never really got to take off, but working 7 days a week and seeing him regularly builds a friendship.  I am so sad to hear anyone so young will not be around.  I always look forward to working again with the people that make the job more bearable. And Dave always seem to be upbeat and had a smile.  And usually a joke.  I will miss the opportunity to work with him again.  I am sending my prayers out to all his family and friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of my friend David.  I had the pleasure of working with David on the Elk City OK pipeline project in 2007 thru 2008.  What a fine young man.  There have only been a few in my life that touched my heart like he did.  I thought of him as one of my kids.  My God give you his peace and comfort during this time of grief.
