Tina was born in New Braunfels to Apolonio and Felicitas on August 5, 1952. She went to school at New Braunfels High School. She married J. Agustin Barcenas-Hernandez in her hometown. She worked many jobs in her life ranging from line cook to retail. She was a Jehovah's Witness and attended many assemblies with her fellow brothers and sisters of the same religion.
Tina is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
Tina is survived by her husband J. Agustin Barcenas-Hernandez, children Erica Mendieta (Miguel) and Agustin Barcenas Jr. (Morgan). Sisters: Fela (Felicitas) Pastor, Mary Rodriguez, Carmen Rodriguez and Judy R. Hernandez. Grandchildren: Yazzie (Yasmin) Mendieta, Alexia Mendieta and Ellis H. Barcenas. Plus many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held for all who wish to attend at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 1765 Old Marion Rd on June 27th 5:30 pm.
