Diana Welch Powell

Diana W. Powell went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 94 years young. She was a loving mother to her three children Sandy Tooley, William Blan and wife Linda Blan, Penny Conway and husband Dennis Conway. She was also a doting grandmother to her grandchildren Cindy Haro, Jennifer Russell, Kirsten Flores, Shannon McDuffy, William Blan, Jr., Christi Conway, Amber Bordano and Carli Wiley. One of her proudest roles was that of great-grandmother, affectionately called “Gigi”, by her numerous great-grandchildren. Diana will always be remembered for her humor and loving heart.

Diana loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family and friends was important to her. Her love for life was felt by anyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Powell. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her, but she leaves us rich in memories and her love and laughter will be cherished always.

A memorial service will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home with Pastor John Hinkebein officiating on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 10:00 A.M.
