Elizabeth Barber Watt, 61, wife of Gilbert Watt, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 17th. She was born on May 1, 1956 in Dallas Texas, and moved to New Braunfels in 1981 where she worked 26 years in the First Baptist Church office. She is survived by her husband Gilbert “Gib” Watt, son Jonathan Watt, daughter Heather Pacheco and three grandchildren Nick, Matt and Gabi Pacheco, sister Charlotte Barber; and many other family and close friends.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Margaret Jo Barber.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 21st at First Baptist Church with Dr. Brad McLean officiating. Visitation will immediately follow at the church.
Memorials in memory of Elizabeth may be given to the FBC Missions Fund.
