

Elsie Biesenbach of Bulverde, Texas passed away September 10, 2015, at the age of 79. She was married to Charlie Biesenbach for 56 years at his passing in March of 2012. She is survived by sisters Leona Prochnow of Bulverde and Carolyn Bell of Granbury, Texas. She is also survived by her five children, Calvin Biesenbach, of Bulverde, Marcia Deike and husband Ron of Boerne, Jerry Biesenbach and wife Joni of Stonewall, David Biesenbach and wife Jaime of Spring Branch, and Marlene True and husband Derence Fivehouse of Edenton, North Carolina. She was beloved by her grandchildren, Bryan LeStourgeon, Alvina Biesenbach Strickland, Rachel Biesenbach, Kailee Biesenbach, Mitchell Biesenbach, Cody Biesenbach, Bryn Biesenbach, Brant Biesenbach; and four great grandchildren Damian LeStourgeon, Wylie LeStourgeon and Noah Biesenbach and Christopher Strickland.
She was born December 31, 1935 to Alvin and Elsie Heimer (nee Moehrig) and grew up in Bulverde, Texas. Elsie was an accomplished gardener, seamstress, quilter and an avid Spurs and Cowboys fan. She doted on her grandchildren and was always first to lend a hand at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she was baptized April 4, 1947 and confirmed May 29, 1949.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday the 15th at the Zoeller Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 16th at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bulverde, with interment to follow in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery also in Bulverde. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bulverde.
