Elsie May Haggerty

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mattie and Joe C. Wilson, and her brother Woodrow and Wallace Wilson. She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years Loyd N. Haggerty, and 4 children Loyce McKinney, Loyd “Bud” Haggerty and wife Angie, Larry Haggerty and wife, Deanna, and Jon Haggerty and wife, Rocky. She was very proud of her 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

“Momma” or “Mammaw” as she was lovingly called always put God first in her life. When she made plans for anything at all, her comments always included, “If the Lord wills”. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. in Houston, and moved to New Braunfels, in 1980. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be Thursday August 9, 2012 from 5 pm until 7 pm at Zoeller Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, August 10, 2012 at 10 am at Zoeller Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Monday, August 13, 2012 at 1 pm at Woodlawn Garden of Memories, 1101 Antoine Drive, Houston, Texas 7705.
