Emilio Jordan Apodaca was born at 9:02 PM on January 13, 2007 in Mt. View, CA. From the time he could walk he was always seeking adventure. He loved football, animals of all kind, playing jokes on his sisters and making people laugh. Emilio was a charismatic young man with a smile that would light up his whole face, when his mouth would smile, so would his eyes. His smile was contagious, and he gave it freely to anyone in need.
Emilio excelled in school, graduating high school 2 years early, at only 16. He could give little effort and achieve academic greatness every time. He had big plans and looked forward to his future. Emilio’s humor continued beyond childhood. As a young man, EJ was always cracking jokes, (mostly inappropriate with poor timing) if it meant those he loved would laugh or smile. Emilio was outspoken whether we liked it or not, he sugar-coated nothing and we appreciated that about him. He was genuine and a trend setter with a unique sense of style. He owned every color of old school Vans and would rotate them through his Michael Kors wardrobe; you knew when he walked into a room. If his outfit didn’t catch your attention, his beautiful smile would. He knew no stranger and once you were a friend, he was loyal to a fault. Emilio was full of life and brought so much joy to those around him. In his free time, Emilio enjoyed hanging out with his girlfriend, Audrey, spending time with his friends, watching Disney movies, listening to music, chatting on FaceTime and playing video games. EJ deeply impacted the many lives he touched and will always hold a special place in our hearts
Emilio is survived by his doting mother, Stephanie Apodaca, Father and stepmother, Emilio and Lauren Apodaca, his four sisters Alyssa (Kyle) Krantz, Alexis Apodaca, Autumn Apodaca, and Aubrey Apodaca. He is also survived by his niece, great grandparents, grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins, and his beloved dog, Lilo.
A service and celebration of life will be held on Monday February 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Zoeller funeral home in New Braunfels, TX. Reception to follow. #SmileLikeEmilio
