Emily J. Ott

Emily Jean Ott of New Braunfels passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Sundance Inn at the age of 86. She was born May 4, 1931 to Egon H. Schriewer, Sr. and Alma Louise Seekatz Schriewer in Guadalupe County Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Wilfred E. Ott; sons Thomas H. Ott, Russell W. Ott; brother Egon Schriewer, Jr.; grandson Craig T. Ott; great-granddaughters Sydney and Bailey Ott. She is survived by grandchildren, Christopher Ott, Patrick Ott and his wife Casey, Colleen Harrell and her husband Brian, Kyle Ott and his wife Ashlea, Ryan Ott, Corey Ott; 7 great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law Euphrasia Ott and Kathy Purvis. Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2018 from 5:30 until 7:30 pm at Zoeller Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1 PM at Friedens United Church of Christ with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make memorial contributions to Hope Hospice or Friedens United Church of Christ.
