Enriqueta “Queta” Salazar, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister who passed away March 18, 2015 at the age of 82 years. She was born to Jose Castaneda and Senona Esparza Castaneda in New Braunfels, Texas. Queta was predeceased by her parents , her husband Guadalupe Salazar, and her two brothers, Alfonso Castaneda and Victor Castaneda. She is survived by one daughter, Gracie Salazar and husband Guadalupe Granado of New Braunfels, and three grandchildren, BriAna Nerios of Corpus Christi,TX, Brandon Nerios of Huntsville, TX, and Thomas Granado of New Braunfels, TX, and two sisters, Martina and husband Robert Rodriquez and Vange Aguirre, all of New Braunfels, TX.
Visitation will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home on Friday, March 20, 2015, from 5-9 PM with Rosary at 7 PM. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 10 AM. There will be no procession from the funeral home to the church.
