Erlinda V Guerrero

Funeral arrangements are complete at Zoeller Funeral Home for Erlinda V. Guerrero of New Braunfels. She passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at her residence at the age of 91. She was born August 14, 1922 in New Braunfels Texas to Guadalupe and Geronimo Velasquez. Ms. Guerrero was a cook at the Y Café for many years and then later was a cook at Oma’s Haus. Preceding her in death was her sisters, Santos Schaefer and Elisa Serna; brother, Jose Angel Jimenez and a son-in-law Michael Rushing. She is survived by her daughters, Antonia Flores and her husband Jesse Flores, Olga Lopez, Yolanda Rushing and Diana Guerrero; sons Butch Guerrero, Eustacio (Stacy) Guerrero Jr. and his wife Irma Cruz Guerrero; 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great- grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 5 pm Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Zoeller Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 7 pm Thursday evening. The funeral procession will depart Zoeller Funeral Home Friday, June 6, 2014 at 9:30 for a 10 am mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Entombment will follow the mass at Saints Peter and Paul Mausoleum. Arrangements under the direction of Zoeller Funeral Home, New Braunfels, TX.
