Fidel's parents were dear people  whom my husband Guy first came to know  as a young boy.  Guy had great respect for Carlos and I came to share that respect. He was a fine man.  We were both very fond of him,  and we appreciated the care  he took of our horses whenever we took them to the Lazy J ranch for a "vacation." My husband Guy's mother was Lois Heath. Carlos and Georgina's daughter Lois was named after her. We are sorry to hear of Fidel's passing and we send our sympathy and  regards to all of his family.  Sincerely, Guy and Donna Heath

We will always remember the days we spent with you and family. Most of all the day you arrived at the scene of my accident while you were on duty you were the first to respond and you were there for me. We will miss you dearly. We are so sad to hear of Fidel’s passing. We talked about the fun times camping we had with your family, and the great memories of making tamales. So blessed to have known him. We love you all and will be praying for your family. 

Fidel and his wonderful family were in charge of managing Mountain View Ranch (which is now The Ingram Ranch) during the years we were a part owner.  Our families grew up together and we enjoyed many great times with Fidel, Lucia, Sammy and Sandra.  Fidel was a good friend, a great father and a fine man.  We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to Lucia, Sammy, Sandra and their families.  It is an honor to have known Fidel and we so appreciate the warm happy memories from those days.

To Sammy and the rest of the family, my deepest regards. Fidel was a good friend. He lived life for his family. He knew so many folks in and around Comal County, he was a great resource for us to find the landowner or lease holder to handle loose livestock. His knowledge of the county was invaluable to me as a young deputy trying to find places. He will be missed, but never forgotten. I tell my children and their children stories about Fidel. I went to Canyon High school with  Fidel, I remember him as a friendly very good person. I will remember him in my prayers.
