Flora Laverne Rosinbaum passed away in Seguin, Texas on August 31, 2021. She was 88 years old. She was born to Leonard and Sadie Cordelia Nichols in Hamlin, Texas. She graduated from Hamlin High School and then started nursing school. On April 18, 1952, she married Robert “Bob" Allen Rosinbaum, Jr. They had three children.
Her early married years were spent as a housewife and later she did secretarial work. She and Bob lived in Saudi Arabia while he was working for Aramco Oil Company. They were able to travel to many places, including Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium and France. In 1983, they returned to the United States
and settled in Canyon Lake, Texas.
When she was younger, she enjoyed listening and dancing to the Big Band music. She loved animals of all kinds especially dogs. Her favorite breed of dogs was dachshunds. Hallmark movies were her favorite as well as watching ice skating. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading books and magazines.She was a member of Canyon Lake United Methodist Church.
Flora was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, her parents, Leonard and Cordie Nichols, her brother, Raymond Nichols, and her sister, Francis Nichols Ham.
She is survived by her three children, Debbie Rosinbaum Lyons and her husband Wendall, Sandy Rosinbaum, Larry Rosinbaum and his wife, Marta. Also surviving are granddaughters, Alison Lyons, Amanda Lyons Bewley and her husband, Wesley, two great grandsons, Wyatt Bewley, and Callen Bewley.
A Private Family Memorial Service with Livesteam for Flora will be held Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Zoeller Funeral Home 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, TX 78130..
