Florentino Sosa

Florentino Sosa, 71, of New Braunfels, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Kirkwood Manor in New Braunfels. He was born to Victoriano Sosa and Juanita (Perez) Sosa in New Braunfels on October 16, 1942.

He is survived by his daughters, Kay Lynn Sosa and Mar Jane Gonzales both of Houston, TX; brothers, Joe Sosa, and Antonio Sosa; sisters, Mary Sosa, Rosa Sosa Tristan, Janie Garcia, Josie Nañez, and Paula Paredez; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Victor Sosa and Hilberto Sosa.

Public Visitation will begin 5:00 PM Wednesday at Zoeller Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday morning at the funeral home from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM when the service departs in a procession to the church. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
