Frances Ann Zenner Achilles, 88, of Sabinal, Texas passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024 in New Braunfels, Texas. She was born August 13, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl S Achilles, parents Olive & Harry Zenner, brother Carl Zenner, and sister Betty Wertheim.
She is survived by her children, David Achilles (Christie), Carolyn Zunker (Danny), Thomas Achilles (Lyndi), and Earl E Achilles; her grandchildren, Leslie Been (Justin), Wes Zunker (Jesica), Reece Zunker (Paula), Grady Achilles (Victorianna), Eli Achilles (Alexandra), Kylie Achilles (fiancé Danny), and Nash Achilles; her great grandchildren, Emma, Mackenzey, Ryan, Wiley, Ella, Waylon, Lyle, and Holland; her brother, Harry Zenner Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
On July 7, 1954, Frances married the love of her life, Earl S Achilles. Together, they owned and operated several successful businesses including Turner Welding & Erection Co. and Texas Dancehall. She was very giving, loving, hardworking, and her family was everything to her. Whether family or friend, if you needed anything, she was always willing to do what she could to help.
A celebration of her life will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 777 West San Antonio St, New Braunfels, Texas on Monday, May 6 at 11:00 a.m. The family invites you to join them for a light meal in the fellowship hall following the celebration.
