Frances McHaney was born in Seguin, Texas to Francisco Garcia Conejo and Enriqueta Rodriguez Conejo on June 16, 1938. She graduated from Seguin High School in 1956 and married Jesse C. McHaney on October 18, 1959. She enjoyed her life as a military spouse and traveled around the world for twenty years before returning to her home town of Seguin, Texas. She enjoyed her retirement life with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children Patrick, Edward, Michael, Deborah, and John McHaney also by her sisters Adela, Natalie, and brothers Joe and Robert. She was a proud grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A rosary will be recited Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 10:30 am at St. James Catholic Church in Seguin with a mass to follow at 11:00 am. Graveside services and burial will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery immediately following the mass.
