Francisco R. Young Jr.

Francisco R. Young, Jr., 74, of New Braunfels, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at his residence. He was born December 4, 1935 to Francisco Young and Louisa Reyes Young in Mc Queeney, Texas. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Union Funebre de Padres Familiares. He retired from Mc Laughin Materials after working over 20 years as a Mechanic Assistant. He enjoyed spending time with family and grandchildren, traveling, and watching wrestling.

He is survived by his loving wife Consuelo G. Young of New Braunfels; daughter, Sylvia Zamarripa and husband Ramon of New Braunfels; son, Roy G. Young of New Braunfels; daughter, Sandra Y. Wesolick and husband Donnie of Mc Queeney; daughter, Mary Y. Ulloa of New Braunfels; son, Michael F. Young and wife Cindy of Spring Branch; 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Rodriguez and Amelia Martinez. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jose Young, Sr.; and sister, Consuelo Cantu.

The family would like give Special Thanks to Hope Hospice; Nurses and CNA’s for all of the assistance and care given.

Public visitation will begin 5:00 PM Tuesday at the Zoeller Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Reverend Ignatius Himawan, MSF – Celebrant. Interment will follow in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery #2.
