Gerald Jeff Lee Warnimont

Gerald L. (Jeff) Warnimont left this world to go to his home in heaven on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. He entered this world on July 18, 1934 in Defiance, Ohio the son of Martin John Warnimont and Amelia Henrietta Friedhoff Warnimont. He married Elizabeth Joann Mays on June 30th 1992. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth and daughter, Felecia Faith Carroll; one brother, Paul Warnimont and wife Ruth; sisters-in-law, Joan Warnimont; Dolores Fee, Savannah Runkle and husband Jim, Vivian Thacker and husband Mike, and Pat Mays; brothers-in-law, Paul Mays and wife Linda, Allen Mays and wife Linda, Avery Mays and wife Sue Ann, William Mays, and Alvin Mays and wife Michele; and a large number of nieces and nephews and also his golfing buddies; special nurse, Darcy and church family at Eastside Baptist Church in New Braunfels, Texas where he was a member. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Jeff was a life member of the VFW 3360 in Defiance, Ohio. He retired from the Campbell Soup Company in Napoleon Ohio as Assistant Manager of Quality Systems, he was a loyal Campbell employee for 36 years. Jeff will be missed by all who knew and loved him, but we know he has a beautiful life in Heaven now.

Public visitation will begin 5:00 PM Friday at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 8:00 PM.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Zoeller Funeral Home with Reverend Wilburn Taylor and David Cimino officiating. Additional services will be held at a later date in Defiance, Ohio where he will be laid to rest.
