Gerard Ernest Sultenfuss

He is predeceased by his wife, Mary Jane. They were married 62 years before she went to Heaven in November of 2022, and they made their residence in Garden Ridge. He is survived by his daughter Diana of Marion; his son Ronald and his wife Naomi of San Antonio; and his good friend Rosalinda Hernandez. His special friends Hansel, Gretel, and Emmitt will miss his company.

He is also predeceased by his sister, Mary Ann Sackett and her husband, Robert.

His family would like to thank his caregivers for their kind and tender attention – Letty Gonzalez, Kendra Williams, Renee Ambriz and Ashton Holmes. He became friends with all of them and was happy in their care. Also thanks to the personnel at Embrace Hospice for their kind attention.

Gerard was proud to have completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at St. Mary’s University. He retired as the Director of Accounting from City Public Service.

A Funeral Mass was held at Holy Family Catholic Church in New Braunfels, with a burial at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery #2.
