Grace Edna Curtis Jonas

Grace Edna Jonas, 79, passed away May 23, 2010. Born December 30, 1930 to Edna Jandt Curtis and Walter E. Curtis of New Braunfels. Grace was one of seven children. Juanita & Jack Kaufman of New Braunfels, Ann Marie Rainbolt (deceased) & Jack Rainbolt of Fredericksburg, Raymond Curtis of Louisiana, Clifford & Dixie Curtis of New Braunfels, Clifton & Prebble Curtis of New Braunfels and Eleanor Warner of Houston. Grace's beloved husband, Verner preceded her in death.

Grace was a wonderful, loving mother to two boys, Ray Dean Patrick and Samuel Walter Patrick. Sadly, Ray Dean Patrick preceded his mother in death. Samuel & wife Linda Patrick reside in Comal County. Grace has four grandchildren Eric Patrick of New Braunfels, Stacey Natal and husband Albert of Canyon Lake, and Colleen Hughes and husband Michael Hughes stationed in Turkey, Michael Doyle & wife Ashley stationed in Virginia Beach, VA. And in Grace's own words" light of her life" her great-grandchildren. She had eight, Fabian Natal, Allysia Natal, Sierra Natal, Hayley Natal, Weymon Hughes, Jeremy Hughes, Kelsey Hughes, and Damien Doyle.

Grace was very active In St Paul Lutheran Church, The Eagle's Women's Auxiliary, an avid gardener, and birdwatcher until recent years and health declined. Grace was a special loving person, mother and omie. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Zoeller Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Comal Cemetery.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be given to the American Heart Assn. or the New Braunfels Humane Society.
