To Nancy - and children, grandchildren and to all those joining this circle of love. As in the message I left you by phone - Patricia and I were sorry that were "way out" of town (in Colorado) before and on the day you held the service of tribute for Harold.
The remembrances are many and so special about you two. Myriam and I remembered those early days at both church and social gatherings - when we shared family and and church experiences. Why - we even shared the same parsonage in Kingsville ! (Christ Methodist) - of course we were there about 5 years before you!
And in these later years, Patricia and I have had always been so glad to see you two when you came to our monthly retired clergy and spouses luncheons (OWOP)- culminated with Harold and you being at our July 2018 meeting - and seeing those young grandchildren coming in there to the restaurant and giving their loving grandpa - Harold - those special hugs and kisses!! That was a wonderful tribute to him - and one which highlights our years of friendship with you two!
May God's blessings and comfort be with you now... as you move on in your life ...with all of this to undergird you in all the years ahead! We send our love to your and yours!
Harold (Burky) and Patricia Burkhardt (San Antonio)

The Gospel according to Peanuts is what I think of when I think of you Harold, Oh the joy you brought to our family, especially my Mother, Evelyn. Harold and Nancy were such blessings to us while growing up in Pearsall. Never forget the "Peace Singers" that Nancy brought together. My heart breaks for your loss but a smile comes to me when I think of Heaven and all of those together that love Harold so much. Praying for comfort and peace for you, Nancy and all of your family.

Harold, how I regret not being at your memorial service. I thank God for you and the awesome ministry. You put God’s people at the top of you list as was evident by your love and care for all. I thank you for being my first DS in SWTx conference and the friendship that blossomed from there. May you Rest In Peace in the bosom of our Lord. Paz hermano.

Harold was such a loving caring man. When my late husband was fighting cancer at University Hospital he drove all the way to SA several times to comfort him. You and your family will be in my prayers.
Fondly, Debbie Ross
