Henry E Barker (Gene) 85 yrs old of Wimberley went to meet his heavenly father on Thursday April 23rd, 2015. Gene was a gentle, loving, patient and caring man who would do anything for anyone. He was a true blessing to everyone who knew him and will be missed. Gene was preceded in death by his first wife Margie Hodge Barker, his late wife Carol Jean Barker and his step son Robert Flowers.
He is survived by his 7 children; Ronnie and Connie Barker of Danbury, TX, Steven Barker of Sweeney, TX, Sharon and Michael Schreffler of Wimberley, TX, Brent and Taffy Barker of Wimberley, TX, Keith and Kerri Barker of West Columbia, TX and Saudie Arbia, Jeannie and Doyle Smith of Arlington, TX, Julie Troncoso of Wimberley, TX, 25 grand children and 17 great grandchildren and great great grand children. Family and friends gathered on Monday April 27th, 2015 to celebrate his wonderful life at Hill Country Cowboy Church Wimberley, TX.
