Isabel I. Morris

Isabel I. Morris, 84, of New Braunfels, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013 at the Warm Springs Specialty Hospital in New Braunfels. She was born to Willie R. Sahm and Lorie Wohlfahrt in New Braunfels, Texas on August 10, 1929. Isabel was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend. She was a member of First Protestant Church New Braunfels and worked 20 plus years as a bookkeeper for the Paul Brunner Clothing Store in New Braunfels. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary,V.F.W. Auxiliary, the Alamo Schuetzen Verein, and the FOE Auxiliary. She especially enjoyed working with the American Legion Auxiliary Girls State Program and also helping with Bingo at the hall.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Morris of New Braunfels; sister, Vernell Hoffmann of San Antonio; sisters-in-law, Helen Guritz; Helen Morris; Mary Ann Morris, Carol Morris; brothers-in-law, Joe Morris and wife Alice; Ken Morris and wife Sue and Bob Morris; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers-in-law. The family wishes to thank all of the staff at Sundance Care Center for their kindness and excellent care.

Public visitation will begin 5:00 PM Monday at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the First Protestant Church New Braunfels with Reverend Chuck Huckaby officiating. Burial will follow in Comal Cemetery.
