Beloved son, brother, and friend to many: James Edwin Drury died tragically and unexpectedly on July 29, 2013 at the age of 37. James was born on March 11, 1976 to Charlotte Drury and the late George Drury in New Braunfels where he attended NBHS. After some short times in Missouri and California, James settled in Seguin for a few years where he made many friends. Living in New Braunfels for the last year near his family James catered for Fritz’s Catering and was working part time at Schlitterbahn. James shared his father’s love of the Comal River where he enjoyed swimming, floating, and visiting with friends. James had a generous kind heart and always saw goodness in everyone. James is survived by brother, John Drury and wife Trinity, sister, Traci Davis, sister, Terri Adams and husband Brad. “Uncle James” is survived by nieces and nephews, Brittany Davis, Brandon Davis, Ryan Davis, Jimmie Davis, Chris Davis, Blayke Drury, Paige Jones, Sarah Adams, Luke Adams, and Ethan Davis as well as by many other uncles, aunts, cousins, and close friends. He is loved and will be missed by all. Visitation will be held Friday Aug 2 from 5-8 PM at Zoeller Funeral home in New Braunfels. Saturday visitation will begin at 9:30 at Abundant Grace Christian Fellowship Church (1121 Oasis St, by Montana Mike’s in New Braunfels) with a Memorial Service beginning at 11:00 AM. Cremation will follow. James loved animals and was always picking up strays. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Humane Society of New Braunfels. Your friendship has been a far greater gift.
