James “Jim” E. Smith, 78, of New Braunfels, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the Sundance Inn. He was born to Ralph Smith and Patricia Bennett Smith in Litchfield, Illinois on February 4, 1940.

He is survived by his wife, Bobi Smith; daughter, Robyn Writz and husband Brian; son, Cain Smith and wife Becky; grandchildren, Matthew Young, Payton Smith, Logan Writz, and Brady Writz; brother-in-law, Ralph Davis and wife Lori; nephews, Texas Davis and wife Megan and Justin Davis; niece, Katie Lynn Davis; 2 great nieces, Emmie Davis and Harley Davis; 1 great nephew, Colton Davis; and Godson, Ryan Freeman of Clinton, IL.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Zoeller Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be given to New Braunfels Pink Warrior Angels www.pinkwarriorangels.org
