

Jeremiah “Jerry” Delgado, 50, of New Braunfels, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 27, 2013. He was born on March 8, 1962 to Martin Delgado and Rebecca (Cantu) Delgado in New Braunfels, Texas. Jerry attended New Braunfels High School and went on to work for different Social Service agencies, helping individuals with disabilities and also as an OSHA inspector for many years. Jerry was a kind, intelligent and caring person. He enjoyed the company of family and friends and was a devoted Dallas Cowboy’s Fan. Jerry was very strong in his faith and was always quick to share an encouraging word with others of how God had worked in his life. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Delgado; sisters, Ymelda Benavides and husband Robert, Rachel Castilleja and husband Julian, Jr., Rosa Martinez and husband Manuel, Sr., Alma Rizk and husband Herbert, Jr., Becky Billiot and husband Darren, and Marisol D. Quintero and husband Jorge; brothers, Martin Delgado, Jr. and wife Mary R., Carlos Delgado and wife Lupe, Juan Delgado and wife Brenda, and Felipe Delgado “Chubby;” as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Martin Delgado, Sr.; twin brother, Jose Delgado; brother, Raymond Delgado, and sister, Rebecca Delgado.
Public visitation will begin 5:00 PM Thursday at Zoeller Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue 8:00 AM Friday at the funeral home until 9:30 AM when the service departs in procession to the church. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Friday, February 1, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Reverend Ignatius Himawan, MSF – celebrant. Services will conclude at the church.
