JoAnn was born February 11, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas to Randolph and Josephine Rice. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Robert Britt; sister, Elaine Flewellin; and 5 children of her own, Debra Stark, Sheryl Katzer, Karen Patience, Robert Hendrickson, and Jason Padier; 11 grandchildren and 8 Great grandchildren.
JoAnn was devoted to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace. She was a longtime member of Oakwood Baptist Church and was active in her Woman’s Bible Study Group, which she loved.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 7, 2020 from 9:00 am until Service time beginning at 10:00 am at Zoeller Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Services will be officiated by Pastor Ray Still.
