

Joe R. Guerrero, 58, passed on to heaven peacefully on Aug. 19, 2011, with family by his side in New Braunfels, Texas. Our brother, uncle, nephew, son, loving husband, and friend, also known as "Joe Nasty", is reunited with his father, Albino Guerrero, Sr. and sister-in-law, Christina Guerrero.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Rosales Aleman; mother, Angelita Guerrero; sisters and their spouses, Sylvia Vela and Alex Aleman, Angie and John Flavin, Gloria and Evaristo Reyes, Lucy and Rey Rosales; brothers and their spouses, Jimmy and Grace Guerrero, Albino Guerrero, Jr., Tomas and Cindy Guerrero, Victor and Rita Guerrero, and David Guerrero.
He is also survived by 21 nephews and nieces and seven great nephews and nieces. Extended family includes the Rosales Family: Tina, Maria, Crispin, Isabel, Michelle and Adrian Rosales; along with his pet cats: Tiger, Bootsy, and Calico.
His 24-year Civil Service career was at Randolph Air Force Base working with landscape contractors. He had a love for the game of golf and was always there to help his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all.
Visitation will begin Tuesday at 2 p.m. and continue until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Zoeller Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. in the Zoeller Funeral Home chapel. A procession will depart the funeral home Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
