John E. Wade

John Elwin Wade, at the age of 67, died in his sleep on January 18, 2024, at his home in Marion, Texas.

He was born on May 2, 1956, in San Diego, California.

John was preceded in death by his father JW Wade, mother Sarah Wade, and sister Sarah Lee Bielke.

He is survived by his wife Jenny Koehler Wade of Marion, Tx; son Joshua Wade and wife Stephanie of Spring, Tx; son Jonathan Wade and wife Anne of Goldsboro, North Carolina; daughter Emily Smith and husband Samuel of Marion, Tx; son Ethan Wade of Marion, Tx; and son Zachary Wade of Marion, Tx;

Nine grandchildren: Macey, Wyatt, Marilla, and Rhett Wade of Spring, Tx.; Josiah and Jeremiah Wade of Goldsboro, North Carolina; and Eleanor, Oliver, and Walter Smith of Marion, Tx.

John is also survived by his sister Susan Cantel of New River, Arizona, sister Sharon Trevino of Marysville, Washington, brother James Wade of Arizona, sister Bonnie Wade of Placerville, California and brother Kenneth Wade of Orange, Texas.

A celebration of life for John will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 10:30 AM at The Country Church, 1005 W, FM 78, Marion, Texas 78124.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations in memory of John be given for Bibles on the mission field through Victory Baptist Press, PO Box 766, Milton, FL 32571
