

Johnny was born in Elsa, Texas to Hobert & Santos Baize on June 14, 1962. He went to school in Edcouch Elsa where he excelled in sports. He married his high school sweetheart, Norma Teran on April 14, 1984, in Hidalgo County. He graduated from University of Texas Pan American with his Associates Degree in Nursing. He worked passionately as a Nurse for over 30 years, treating patients, educating future nurses and inspiring others.
Johnny was a loving and devoted parent, grandparent, sibling and friend. He spent his days helping anyone that he could medically as a nurse, emotionally as a helpful ear, or by tinkering with someone’s vehicle. He spent his days staying busy and working with his hands. When Johnny wasn’t doing anything with his hands he enjoyed taking his Triumph for a ride. He frequently spent his days riding the winding roads in New Braunfels, enjoying the scenery and feeling the wind on his face while listening to his favorite music.
He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
Johnny is survived by his children Justin, Joslyn (Brittani), and Juliana Valencia (Jose) and his eight grandchildren. His siblings are Carmen Bribiesca (Arturo), Ascension Alvarado Jr, Christina Williamas, Joe Alvarado (Mary), Anna Mancias (Ruben), Jacinto Alvarado, Martha Hernandez, William Baize (Iris), Pamela Baize.
Life celebrated ceremony will be at 11:00AM, Friday September 25th at Zoeller Funeral home located at 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, TX 78130.
