Karl William Krueger, 89, of New Braunfels passed away on June 28, 2018 at home. Karl was born on August 7, 1928 in Lockhart, TX to Elmo and Olga (Anton) Krueger. He grew up on a farm in Lockhart and the surrounding area. He went to school and worked on farms in the Lockhart area.
He married Lorene G. Kanz on April 10, 1947 at First Protestant Church in New Braunfels. They raised three children, Sharon, Karlene, and Russel while they farmed in Martindale, TX. They moved to New Braunfels where Karl and Lorene worked at Mission Valley Mills until he retired in 1988.
Karl and his family loved to hunt, fish, camp at Canyon Lake, and take yearly trips to the coast. A man of great faith, Karl was a member of First Protestant Church for 71 years.
