

Kimberly Ann Wilson, age 70, passed away peacefully in her home in New Braunfels, TX on 10/22/25. She was born in Austin, TX on 01/21/55. She met her husband there, TSGT John Lee Wilson, and they were married on 05/26/1973. After living in the Philippines, San Antonio, and Japan, she and John settled in New Braunfels in 1990 with their two daughters Crystal and Amber.
She joins in Heaven her son Robert Wilson, daughter Amber Burke, her mother, Betty Mack, step-father Elmer Mack, and her dog Licorice. She is survived by her husband, TSGT John Wilson, daughter Crystal Chighizola, sister Kelly Ernst, brothers Kirby and Curtis Corbitt, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Kim's happy place was the beach, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her house was filled with beach scenes and lighthouses painted by her mother. She loved working with children, providing education, and furthering her education. She was the first in her family to obtain a Master's degree which was in Occupational Education.
Kim's family and friends will celebrate her life on November 17, 2025, at Zoeller Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Texas. There will be a viewing at 9:00 AM followed by a celebration service at 10:00 AM. Kim will be laid to rest at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. A grave side service will be held at 1:00 PM in shelter 1 at the cemetery.
