Larry was born on January 12, 1969 in Baumholder, Germany to his father, Larry Patton and mother, Betty who later remarried Alvin Faulkner. Larry lived with Alvin and Betty most of his life in St. Hedwig, Texas until he remarried and moved to Spring Branch, Texas.
Larry began attending Town East Christian School at the age of 12 and graduated in 1988. He played soccer and basketball for Town East and was loved by all of his teachers and classmates. While growing up he learned to work on cars at his stepdad’s salvage yard, at Comanche Auto Parts. This skill would follow him throughout his life as he loved to work on classic automobiles. He worked for Waste Management and Evergreen International for several years and then went to work for American Airlines where he spent 20 years. After several health issues, which resulted in the loss of his leg, he essentially retired with disability.
One of Larry’s passions was professional wrestling and he entered the local amateur professional circuit in San Antonio as “Judge Doom”. For several years he was a popular fixture locally until his health prevented him from continuing, however he still supported his fellow wrestling friends by attending matches whenever he could.
In the last few years, Larry became excited about pursuing a degree in Bible Study with the Faith Bible Institute and was very close to graduating. He was becoming increasingly active at Rebecca Creek Baptist Church and was beloved by everyone there.
Larry is survived by his wife Corrina Patton; his mother, Betty Faulkner; his son Colby and wife Ashley; his stepdaughter Kristen; his father Larry Patton and wife Pam; his half-brothers Roy and Josh and their families. He is preceded in death by his dad, Alvin Faulkner.
A visitation for Larry will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Rebecca Creek Baptist Church, 11755 HWY 281 North, Spring Branch, TX 78070, followed by his Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00 PM.
