Laura Lee Bajackson

Laura Bajackson, 63, died October 19th following complications of diabetes. Laura Lee Bennett was born on April 11, 1953, in Merced, California. She worked as a nurse for 35 years in Temple, Fort Worth, and New Braunfels, Texas. She married Robert Bajackson on September 19, 1976 in Austin, Texas.

Ms. Bajackson was the eldest daughter of Rawson Bennett who preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held October 21st at Gruene United Methodist Church. Pastor Karen Horan will officiate.

Survivors include husband, Robert Bajackson of New Braunfels, daughters, Erin Kurtenbach of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and Susan Braden of San Antonio; mother, Ida Bennett of Matthews, North Carolina; step-mother, Gloria Bennett of Fort Mohave, Arizona; brothers, Rawson Bennett of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Anthony Bennett of Carlsbad, New Mexico; John Bennett of Matthews, North Carolina; sister, Lisa Burns of Matthews, North Carolina; and three granddaughters. In lieu of flowers, send donations to the American Diabetes Association.
