Lee Anna was born in Midland, Tx on July 23, 1948. She met the love of her life in 1966. After dating for 3 years, her and Donnie married on February 21, 1969. Lee Anna worked at Fotomat for some time and would hide us boys in the photo booth with her while daddy worked. She went on to get her GED on August 22, 1984 as she was never able to complete high school because her family moved quite often. Lee Anna babysat at home for several years while us boys where in school in order to be home for them each and every afternoon. She would assist Donnie with his air conditioning business by answering phone calls, and keeping up with the office end of the business. Lee Anna was also a Den-Mother while us boys where in Cub Scouts. After that she went on to work in a call center for Lane Bryant for over 10 years where she enjoyed taking inbound calls and assisting in placing customers’ orders. Lee Anna enjoyed the opportunity to get to speak to new people each day.
Lee Anna was also a load of fun. We recall her street racing her car and telling them to not tell daddy. Lee Anna took great joy in painting ocean scenes and the outdoors. She adored animals of all walks of life. Particularly, she spent hours watching live stream Eagles nests. Fishing was a favorite time for her as it was always time spent with family. Either at the coast, at the river or in a fishing tank.
Lee Anna took great joy in being surrounded by her whole family. She would sit, watch and listen to everyone gathered as she would take it all in. The smile on her face would show the world how pleased she was to be surrounded by her family. Her love surrounded us. Her laugh was so very contagious, and her hugs where something you couldn’t pull away from. Her love for her husband taught each of us Christ’s love…. Lee Anna (wife, mommy, nanny, sister and friend) loved unconditionally.
