

Librado Juarez, Sr., 91, of New Braunfels, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011, at his residence. He was born to Ancelma (Ybarra) Juarez and Gudalupe Juarez in Belmont, Texas on September 24, 1919.
He worked at Comal Iron & Metal for 20 years until his retirement in 1989. He was a veteran having proudly served during WWII in the United States Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Ancelma “Emma” Juarez; son, Librado “Lee” Juarez, Jr.; son, Raymond Juarez and wife Maria; son, Rudy Juarez and wife Annie; and daughter, Maria Esther Pina and husband Guadalupe; sister, Paubla Herrera; daughter-in-law, Jackie Juarez; 28 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and 47 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maria Fuentes Juarez; son, Joe Juarez; and granddaughter, Rachel Juarez.
Public visitation will begin 5:00 PM Thursday at the Zoeller Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Friday, January 28, 2011 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Reverend Camillo Botello, MSF – celebrant. Entombment will follow in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Mausoleum with full military honors. Arrangements under the direction of Zoeller Funeral Home, New Braunfels, TX.
