

Lillian L. Robinson a life-long resident of New Braunfels left this earth on August 1, to rejoin her many family members who have gone before her. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 22, 1941 to Othmar Klabunde and Natalie Friesenhahn Klabunde.
After the death of her Dad, when she was only 11 months old, she and her Mother moved to New Braunfels. At the age of 3, her Mother remarried Willie Koepp, who raised and loved her as his own.
She graduated from NBHS in 1959, and married John D. Robinson in 1959. Together they had 3 children, Justine (Tina) Quinn, Nanette Mueller and Jonathan Robinson. She worked at USAA for 26 years, and retired from there in 1992.
She is predeceased by her parents, step-dad Willie Koepp, daughter Tina Quinn, sister Janice Noble, in-laws Bob and Mary Simmons, Bob & Betty Crist and Tom Hatfield. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John D. Robinson, daughter Nanette Mueller and husband, Randy of Austin, son Jonathan Robinson of San Antonio, son-in-law Jimmy Quinn of New Braunfels, grandson Brett Quinn and wife, Katie, granddaughters Brittani Mueller and Ty Milliff of College Station and Amanda Mueller of Austin, sister Kathy Noble and husband Kery of New Braunfels, sister-in-laws Polly Hatfield of New Braunfels, Laura (Cookie) Westinghouse of Florida, brothers-in-law Butch Robinson and wife, Cecilia of New Braunfels and Jim Robinson and wife Lois of Houston and her faithful dog Toby. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and her many friends who have given her love and support through her battle with cancer.
She will be greatly missed by her family and the many friends who knew her. The family wishes to thank Dr. William Reeves and staff, Dr. Alexander Zweibach and staff at the Cancer Care Center, the wonderful nurses at Christus Santa Rosa, Hope Hospice and the staff at Sundance Nursing Home, who all cared for her during her time of need.
Her wishes were to be cremated, so there will not be any visitation, but a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Zoeller Funeral Home.
