Lorine Tausch Kelly

Lorine Tausch Kelly was born in Guadalupe County on January 23, 1942 to Edwin and Hertha Tausch. Lorine went to be with her Lord and Savior, at the age of 81, peacefully surrounded by her family on January 21, 2024.

Lorine’s legacy in life was the love for her family. She worked meticulously all of her life caring for the ones that she loved. She taught her family how to love and the true meaning of love in how she lived her life each and everyday. She was a mom, wife, mother-in-law, grandmother, aunt, sister, daughter, and lifelong friend to many. She loved her sewing, baking, embroidery, traveling, and to organize.

She is survived by her daughter, Rachelle R. Vetter, and son-in-law, Landon, of Fredericksburg; grandsons, L. Hunter Vetter and Mason T. Vetter; nephew, Jon R. Crump of Seguin; nieces, Kim Morris of Waco and Valerie Bushmalev of Norway; and sister, Dory Wee, and brother-in-law, Clifford Wee of Alexandria. She was married to Darse Dwayne Kelly for 51 years. Lorine is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Hertha Tausch.

Services for Lorine will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Zoellers Funeral Home in New Braunfels. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made, in her name, to Fredericksburg United Methodist Church.
