Manuela R. Venecia

Manuela R. Venecia, age 74, went to be with our Lord and Saviour on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at St. Luke Hospital in San Antonio, TX. Manuela was born in Prairie Lee, TX on June 27, 1941 to the late Juan B. Rodriguez and Florencia Gonzales. She is preceded in death by her son, Moses E. Venecia. Manuela is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jose C. Venecia, son, Jose L. Venecia and wife, Cora, daughters, Dominique Moncada, Rachel Venecia and husband, Lance Villanueva and brother, Miguel Rodriguez and wife, Isabel Rodriguez. Manuela was not just a loving wife, mother and sister but also a grandmother to 10 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 6 great grandchildren. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 beginning at 5:00 PM and continuing until 9:00 P.M. with Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 9:30 A.M., at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
