Margaret Marie Brandt, 101 years, of New Braunfels, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at her home in San Antonio. She was born to Edmund Sommers and Selma (Bloomrich) Sommers in Schulenburg, Texas on January 25, 1915.
She is survived by daughter, Sister Mary Michael Brandt of Boerne, TX; sons, Leander J. Brandt, III, Edward F. Brandt and wife Frances and Greg G. Brandt and wife Dana all of New Braunfels; 4 grandchildren, Michelle Brandt, Leander J. Brandt IV, Dr. Taylor Mader, MD and Hailey Wylie; 5 great-grandchildren, Leander J. Brandt V, Garrett Brandt, Kara Brandt, Anna Brandt and Jenna Brandt.
Public Visitation will begin 5:00 PM Sunday at Zoeller Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 5, 2016 at St. Gerard Catholic Church in San Antonio with entombment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park and Mausoleum.
