The family of Margaret Ann Emory is deeply saddened to announce her passing on March 22, 2026. She was born on May 25, 1943, in Petersburg, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. James E. Emory and Ellen M. Emory, Brothers James E. Emory Jr., Robert M. Emory, Sister Birdie M. Emory Bass. She is survived by her sisters Jane Emory Penn, Mary Emory Thomas and husband William. Along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Margaret lived a full and remarkable life. She touched the hearts of everyone she met. Margaret devoted her life to her family and her faith. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, working word puzzles, and bird watching.
A graveside service will be held at Guadalupe Memorial Park on March 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
The family thanks Guadalupe Regional Hospice and Charlottes Cove for their compassion and care. We also want to extend a special thank you to Cheryle Sozzi and husband Ronald for the many years of love and care they provide for their loving Aunt.
