Maria married Isabel Medellin and shared 63 years together. Over those years she held jobs and multiple hotels and nursing homes in the area. She belonged to several church organizations and groups. She loved playing bingo, dancing and cooking for her family. Maria will be remembered for her hard work ethic and dedication.
Maria is survived by her husband, sons, Isabel Medellin Jr and wife julia, Richard Medellin, Albert Medellin, Jesse Medellin and wife Adelina, and Mario Medellin; 23 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Public Viewing & Visitation will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130, on October 7, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:45 am, followed by the Holy Rosary at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130, on October 7, 2026, from 10:45 am to 11:30 am.
A Committal Service will take place at Selma Catholic Cemetery #2, 16075 North Evans Rd, Selma, TX 78154, on October 7, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
