Maria H. Medrano, 97, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at her home. She was born to Bonifacio Hernandez and Bernabe (Reyna) Hernandez in Bracken, Texas on April 12, 1920. She is survived by daughters, Nancy Cantu, Margarita Slusser, Mary Alice Ramirez and husband Felipe, Elizabeth Tuckler and husband Jorge; sons, Refugio Medrano, and Jesus Medrano; 23 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Juan Medrano; daughters, Victoria Noel and Maria Kozak.
Public Visitation will begin 5:00 PM Wednesday at Zoeller Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Visitation will begin again 8:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home and will continue until 9:30 AM when the procession departs to the church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
