Lauderdale, Florida; her four great-grandsons, Andre Louis Pellegrin III, Ethan Patrick Pellegrin, and Ryan Connor Pellegrin of Mitford, Delaware, and Steven Wayne Pellegrin, Jr. of Ogden, Utah; her sister, Jean Anderson and niece, Debbie Jones of Odessa, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Noel W. Williams, their daughter, Kelli Kay Williams, and by her second husband, Charles Everett Cook of New Braunfels, Texas.
Marie moved to New Braunfels in 1993 and quickly established her church home at New Braunfels Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed worship and fellowship with her extensive church family for over twenty years. She was well known for her perpetual smile and willingness to be of service to her community of friends and her church family. She was and excellent seamstress and a true homemaker in every sense of the word, making her surroundings beautiful wherever she lived.
She moved away from New Braunfels in 2010 and enjoyed a few years in the company of her sister, Jean, and niece, Debbie. They referred to themselves as the “three musketeers” and made many happy memories together.
Marie was a kind and giving soul who found joy in every aspect of her life. She was a very special person whose loving presence is a devastating loss to all who knew her and were privileged to spend time with her. She maintained her sweet optimism and faith all the days of her life.
The family is grateful for all the loving support we have received during this most difficult of times and requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to SOS Food Bank, New Braunfels Presbyterian Church, or Hope Hospice.
