Martin T. LeMieux

Martin graduated from Perkinston Junior College and enlisted in the Navy in 1948 and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He later enlisted in the Army in 1954. While stationed in Berlin, Germany he met the love of his life, Karola. Martin and Karola married in 1956 and were station in Heidelberg, Germany. After leaving Germany, the couple relocated to Dallas, TX where he was employed by Dallas Power and Light until retirement. Martin graduated form the University of Texas at Arlington in 1976. He was also active with the Army Reserves until retirement in 1990. Martin and Karola decided to move to Canyon Lake, TX in 2000. They were members of the German American Club of New Braunfels and Martin was an associate member of the New Braunfels Gemischter Chor Harmonie.

Martin is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Karola LeMieux; sons, James D. LeMieux, and Daniel LeMieux (Bonnie).

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home.
