Mattie Kathryn Gay, 92, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at her residence in New Braunfels, Texas. She was born to Kyle Cain Roberts and Gladys (Estes) Roberts in San Benito, TX on February 5, 1922. She is survived by her daughters, J. Suzanne Gay; Cindi Stebbins and husband Chuck; Kathryn Lee McCall and Kyle Gay Baker; sons, Riggs Gay and wife Jill and Peter C. Gay and wife Barbara; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, John W. Gay, Sr. and son, John W. Gay, Jr.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2014, 2:00 PM at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be given to CIMA Hospice in New Braunfels. Arrangements under the direction of Zoeller Funeral Home, New Braunfels, TX.
